Collected as normal
Under the city's standing rule, trash and recycling barrels are collected as normal on Friday, Dec. 25. The page names no 2026 change.
Mesa's page states barrels are collected on all holidays as normal. It lists no 2026 notice, so this is the city's standing rule applied to 2026.
The page covers barrel collection (trash and recycling). It does not say whether bulk, appliance or roll-off service is affected, and does not say whether phone hours change on holidays.
Phone: Contact Center 480-644-2221 (barrels, Monday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.); Solid Waste customer service 480-644-6789. Find your own collection day: city lookup.
