No collection Nov. 26; later days roll over one day
The city's Holiday Schedule 2026 lists Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, 2026. Thursday moves to Friday and Friday moves to Saturday. Monday through Wednesday are not affected. The hauler's own McKinney page still shows 2024 dates, so use the city page.
Trash and recycling are not collected on the listed holidays. If a holiday falls on a weekday, that collection day and the days after it roll over to the next day. Days before the holiday are not affected.
The page covers trash and recycling. It also covers weekly yard waste and bulky item collection. The hauler is Frontier Waste Solutions (469-444-1555).
Phone: 972-547-7385. Find your own collection day: city lookup.
