How Jacksonville handles holidays
Only Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day shift Jacksonville collection. City office closures on other holidays do not change residential collection.
The page says residential waste collection and does not break out recycling, yard or bulk. An older Public Works version of the page still shows 2025 dates, so use this page.
