Thursday routes collected Friday
The page lists Thursday, Nov. 26 as Thanksgiving with the note: Thursday routes will be collected Friday.
When a listed holiday delays pickups, collection through the rest of the week is delayed by one day, beginning with Monday pickups occurring on Tuesday.
The page says there is no residential garbage, recycling or yard waste collection within city limits on the listed holidays. Recycling follows a separate schedule and holiday calendar on the Recycling Alliance of North Alabama website.
