Friday route moves to Saturday
Applying the rule to Friday, Dec. 25: the Friday route moves one day later, to Saturday, Dec. 26.
Boise observes New Year's Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas. If your pickup day is the holiday or falls after it that week, collection is delayed one day. Holidays on a weekend cause no delay.
Trash and compost are weekly and recycling is every other week. The one-day delay applies to routes generally.
Phone: Curb It 208-608-7136; missed pickups, Republic Services 208-345-1266. Find your own collection day: city lookup.
